Dots: 3D Sound for a 2D Animation is created by Senem Pirler, Einat Korman, and Laura Dickens as a 3D audio project. This project coupled an abstract sound collage of eclectic recorded and processed sounds to an animation of moving, jostling, and exploding ‘dots’ - by Norman Mclaren. All the sounds are recorded by a customized Ambisonic microphone array during an improvisation session.
