Moved in Light: Video Studies @ Collar Works, Troy, NY

HD Video on loop, 47 min., Quad sound, 2017.

These video studies conducted during the production of Moved in Light, a performance/installation that examines objects and their properties in relationship to a queer identity and a utopian queer space. This piece is a collaborative project with movement artist Hana van der Kolk, motivated by the idea of connecting objects (in this case, abandoned/unwanted objects that were found in an abandoned factory) and queer identities that have “failed” to be a part of the reproduction process. Moved in Light is presented at EMPAC as a performance/installation on May 5th, 2017 between 8pm-9:30pm.
